PHILOSOPHIES

MENTAL TOUGHNESS

Mental Toughness – this can be enhanced and expected.

a. Learn to deal with pain and to never except defeat. Do all the little things right all the time.

b. Defeat all negative thoughts. “When your body says no – your heart says Go!”

PHYSICAL STRENGTH/ QUICKNESS

a. Weight Room – Benefits, this is where Championships are Won

b. Agility, Mat Drills, & Conditioning.

c. Speed Class

Intensity

– Must teach the 150% attitude

a. Everything is done with a high level of enthusiasm and competitiveness – Push each other.

b. Never be satisfied.

c. Maximum effort – All the time – 150% effort every time; accept nothing less.

d. We will expect more from ourselves as coaches and players.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM AND US

a. We do work harder, 150% effort all the time – Outwork the opponent.

b. Discipline – we must live with it and we must expect it.

c. We will sweat the small stuff. The little things make Champions.

d. Our Success – Our Attitude – Our Work Habits are things we can control. Choose to be in control of our destiny.

UNITY

We are only as strong as our weakest link.

a. Always communicate “Us” and “We”, not “I” and “Me”. Make being apart of the team the greatest experience of their lives.

b. Encourage each other to work harder – the harder you work, the harder it is to surrender

Understand what it means to pivot by accepting, adjusting, and moving forward.  understand that nothing is optional when you are all in, and that pressure that you feel is a privilege.  it means that you are relevant.
